The Biography of Robert Lee Frost Introduction: Robert Frost was described as one of the most greatest poets in the 20th century and became a sensation for poetry. Its not just his poems that interest the reader, but also his quotes can fulfill your compassion. For example, â€Å"No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. No surprise in the writer, no surprise in the reader† written by Robert Frost. He is explaining if the reader does not feel the connection in the writers thought, the writer wont connect correctly to the reader. Frost presented a poem called â€Å"The Gift Outright† to John F. Kennedy’s inauguration. Poetic Vision: Introspective in nature, Frost uses metaphor and simile for his daily rhyme. The rhyme catches the readers attention by the way he uses it to express his views about the world. When you become the audience in the rhyme, you start to realize deep thoughts that meander through a never ending valley of the past. For instance, â€Å"Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words† another quote written by Robert Frost. Though a poem can be sensational, most of his connections to his audience are regret and sorrow. For example, â€Å"A Patch of Old Snow† written by Robert Frost, in which has an impression of the present being now memorable but soon to be forgotten as time goes on. Poetry Analysis: Such as, in this poem, †A Patch of Old Snow†, represents remorse in the past of the speakers life. The past can also be an example of a memory that has lately been brought up in a thought. Sometimes in life we have this missing piece that has been swept away out of our lives; however, perhaps an expression of a feeling can patch a scar. For example, since the â€Å"snow† represents regret, Frost is describing how his feelings had been carried away to a certain place for him to notice.
